The owl

Nadia Besomi, alias "La Chouette", is an artist of Swiss origin living in Berry since the end of 2019 who uses both standard supports (canvases, sheets of paper...) and "forgotten pieces" that she transforms into real works of art as paintings-objects of furnishing

Nadia trained in Switzerland, at the CSIA in Lugano (School center for artistic industries)  and gets his

Federal certificate of capacity as a technician in textile design in 1996

She is primarily an artist.

From an early age, sheets of paper, colored pencils, canvases and brushes accompanied his life. A deep love for nature and animals pushes her to draw the visual emotions that this world gives her, in the form of illustrations or paintings.

In 2012, she took a professional tattoo course. The transition to tattooing techniques was a natural evolution of his art towards a permanent memory on the skin. She opened a private studio in Tesserete in 2013 then in Bioggio (Ticino, Italian Switzerland). She also tattoos on conventions between Switzerland, Germany and France and on international exhibitions such as Berlin and New York.

Following her arrival in France, she opened a private tattoo studio in La Guerche sur l'Aubois (Cher, France) in 2020.

Due to the Covid pandemic, with several consequent confinements and closures for “non-essential activities”, she got closer to painting again, also discovering the pleasure of bringing forgotten objects back to life with her own style.

At the end of 2021, she stops tattooing and decides to take some time to devote herself exclusively to her painting.
